26forCaleb was founded after my little brother Caleb Tripp Thornton passed away unexpectedly in a car accident on Jan. 3rd,2018. I was originally supposed to run my very first Chevron Houston Marathon (26 miles)the week after- but due to the loss and the emotional/physical toll it took on my body- I had to defer my entry.
From there- #26forCaleb was formed. Instead of running my 26 miles- I challenged 26 of my friends and family to complete a single Act of Kindness in his honor. Since then- #26forCaleb has been continuing on and spreading so much love and kindness to complete strangers across the U.S.
I would like to continue this honor to my brother and use funds from t-shirt purchases to continue with Acts of Kindness.
Thank you for supporting this cause. For the people who are paying it forward. For the thoughts and prayers to my family. It means more to us than you know.
- Kristi Thornton (Caleb’s Sister)
