The nonprofit MyGoodDeed, created with the support of 9/11 family members and friends of those killed in the attacks, annually organizes the federally recognized September 11 National Day of Service and Remembrance ("9/11 Day"). It is the largest day of charitable service in America, when people remember 9/11 by spending time volunteering, supporting causes, and doing good deeds.
Each year MyGoodDeed raises funds for its programs through the sale of its t-shirts. 100% of the proceeds go directly to its charity.
This year, funds from your purchase will be used to pay for volunteer service projects on 9/11 that feed the hungry. In 2016 MyGoodDeed will help support the packing of more than 500,000 healthy meals for those at risk of hunger in America, at a cost of just $.25 per meal.
MyGoodDeed also provides free lesson plans to educators nationwide, helping them teach 9/11 to children in constructive ways that promote togetherness, empathy and service.
