In the early morning hours on Sunday, June 17th, Mother Nature decided to turn multiple Copper Country towns upside down. Those being affected include Houghton, Hancock, Chassell, Lake Linden, Hubbell, and Dollar Bay. With millions of dollars of damage done from flooding, many in the local and regional area are taking matters into their own hands. With putting together fundraising pages and gathering friends and family to help with the rebuilding process. With the urge to help the relief efforts more, myself (Lynn Greenhoe), decided to create an interesting and reminiscent logo to remind people that there is hope and to stay strong throughout tough times. All of the profits from this fundraising campaign will be put back into the community to help rebuild roads, bridges, homes, and peoples lives. Some of the organizations that are helping with the flood relief are the local Michigan Red Cross, Portage Health Foundation, local Police and Fire Departments, along with donating directly to families and businesses affected. In conclusion, we ask that you help in any way that you can. Thank you in advance for your support.
