I am good. I am beautiful. I am strong. I am smart.
This became my mantra after seeking out help for my struggles with mental illness. Negative thoughts come easily, but love is louder and self love is the most important when it comes to battling away our personal demons.
"I am" is one of the strongest statements in the English language. Fill in the blank with your own mantra and help yourself feel awesome every time you wear it. (Place a piece of wax paper between the front and back of your shirt to prevent bleeding through.)
In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, proceeds from this campaign will be sent to the Crisis Support Network founded by Random Acts of Kindness.
From their website: The Crisis Support Network is a community support system that the #SPNFamily can turn to to support or help those suffering from mental health issues, such as depression, self-injury, or addiction; or those affected by cyberbullying.
We partner with IMAlive, To Write Love on Her Arms (TWLOHA), and Pop Culture Hero Coalition to bring to this community the Crisis Support Network.
This initiative provides:
Training opportunities for fan volunteers who wish to be crisis responders in their spare time.
Immediate access to support lifelines for those in crisis.
Local community resources for those needing additional support or information.
Training programs for those affected by cyberbullying (coming in 2017.
