Three years ago I was literally ripped apart by chimpanzees. With the help of all my St. Louis University SLUCare Physicians and health care providers, 24 surgeries and countless hours of physical rehabilitation, I'm doing better than ever. I'm now working to develop the new Center for Innovative Reconstruction and Rehabilitation at St. Louis University! We're turning the amazing treatment program I received at SLU into a framework for a center that will treat the whole person and help them thrive after going through such an experience. This Center will provide the same type of comprehensive care and treatment I received to the major traumatically injured patient, U.S. combat veteran or cancer survivor in order that he/she rebuilds body mind and spirit and regains independent living and life purpose. Please help us build this Center so we can start providing this life-changing care to those most in need by buying one of the famous No-Finger Fastball shirts worn by the members of Operation Oberle at Busch Stadium the night I threw out the first pitch. Thank you so much!
