**"Rise above, ride out the storm and soar!"**
Attitudes In Reverse® will be stretching its wings across the United States and bringing our message of HOPE & HEALING to Phoenix, AZ in June 2016.
The magnificent phoenix is a symbol of renewal, rebirth and starting anew. Attitudes In Reverse® encourages those who are struggling to find the strength within, to rise above their daily struggles, no matter how difficult, and find hope for tomorrow.
Just as the phoenix rises.
AttitudesIn Reverse® (AIR™) is INTHE COMMUNITY, educating about good mental health and suicide prevention. Through AIR's advocacy and outreach efforts, we are breaking down the barriers of stigma and saving lives! Through the support of the SPN Family, we are reaching people across the US!
In November 2015, thanks to AIR volunteer Jane Hightower, AIR launched its CA chapter in Pasadena. Now, thanks to the energy of Kat Loveland, of SPNFamilyCentral, and the continued support of the SPNFamily, we are launching the Arizona Chapter and In Their Shoes Exhibit on June 11, 2016 at the Renaissance Phoenix Glendale Hotel.
We hope you can join us and support AIR by purchasing a limited edition Phoenix RISE ABOVE T-shirt.
Thank you ALL for your continued support! Your love and caring is always appreciated from the bottom of our hearts!
Look forward to seeing you at SPN PhoenixCon!
We are STRONGER TOGETHER!
Special Thanks, too, goes to
Gil McKinney who continues to demonstrate caring for AIR's mission.
Gil supports the AIR Dogs: Paws for Minds program, improving the mental well-being of humans by bringing dogs into their lives.
AIR Dogs volunteers find dogs in need of homes, and places them as Emotional Support Dogs with people with mental health disabilities.
In addition, certified therapy dogs travel to schools to help students de-stress. Petting a dog releases oxytocin, dopamine, serotonin and lowers cortisol level. These are all good de-stressing brain chemicals.
AIR volunteers are big believers in the healing power of dogs!
