Securing a Cure
On March 11th, 2017, I will be running in the Spartan Race to raise funds for Leukemia Lymphoma Society in honor of my father, Robert W. Ferguson Jr.
Robert passed in 2007 due to complications form Hodgkins and Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. He was an avid reader, chess player, woodworker, and gardener who gave to charity for animal rescue groups and the local fire department.
Spartan race is a series of obstacle races of varying distance and difficulty ranging from 3 miles to marathon distances. The obstacles themselves also vary from race to race. Frequently presented obstacles can include a fire jump, climbing under barbed wire, wall climbing, and mud crawling.
Words cannot express the thanks I can give to Geeks that Give, Terri Miller and Alert Logic for the support and all those who purchase a shirt to show their support.
All profits will be donated to the Leukemia Lymphoma Society of Houston, our local chapter by Yorktown St.
External donations will be accepted.
